Kassidy proudly represented the Texas Association of Future Educators and Rockwall ISD, earning 2^nd place in the Exploring Support Services Careers: JV category.

Following the 89th Texas Legislative Session, Rockwall ISD appreciates these funding changes, but they do not fully meet the needs of fast-growing districts like Rockwall ISD.

As the school year comes to a close, we want to recognize our CTE students for a job well done as they have competed and championed important events and milestones this year at the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy. 

EMT students delivered an outstanding performance at the HOSA State Leadership Conference, earning first and third place among more than 20 top teams from across Texas. 

Twenty students in Business Professionals of America competed among nearly 7,000 students across the country in the 2025 National Leadership Conference in May in Orlando.

Williams Middle School eighth-grade student Ashton F. has achieved high honors in the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation School Bus Safety Poster Contest, earning regional and state-level recognition for her creative efforts.

On a night filled with hope, memories, and heartfelt applause, the Rockwall High School Class of 2025 turned their tassels and turned the page to a new chapter in life.

The Rockwall-Heath High School Class of 2025 took the spotlight on May 28, 2025, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, as family, friends, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate this academic milestone.

As part of a Rockwall High School student-led community service passion project, Full Metal Jackets officer Phoebe I. initiated and led the effort to adopt a stretch of roadway through TXDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program.

Fashion design students from the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy placed in the top five at the FCCLA State 2025 Fashion Design Competition, recently held in Dallas.
